How the group L visa works for Pakistani delegation travellers, what it is different from an individual application, what documents you need, and what ChinaChallo handles on your behalf.

All delegates on ChinaChallo trips travel on a group L visa. The visa processing is managed by our team as part of your package. You provide your documents, we handle the rest. You do not need to visit the visa centre yourself.
A group visa is not a different type of visa — it is the same L visa category, applied for collectively by an organised group through a registered travel company. Instead of each person submitting their own individual application, the company compiles all applications into a single group submission on behalf of all travellers.
This matters for two reasons. First, the process is simpler for you — our team prepares the submission and handles the paperwork. Second, group applications from established companies with a track record have a higher approval rate than individual first-time applications, because the embassy has a known entity — ChinaChallo — vouching for the group and their purpose of travel.

Documents must be submitted to our team at least 45 days before departure. This gives us time to compile the group application, handle any queries, and collect passports with visas well before travel. Late document submission is the most common cause of problems — it does not move the travel date, it just compresses the time available to resolve any issues.
Understanding your visa stamp avoids confusion at the airport. Four different pieces of information appear on it, and they mean different things.

The "valid until" date is not how long you can stay. If your visa says valid until 15 November with a 30-day duration, you must enter before 15 November, but you can stay for 30 days from your entry date — even if that takes you past 15 November. Duration of stay is counted from your actual entry stamp.
The M visa covers commercial and trade activities — individual sourcing trips, factory meetings and Canton Fair attendance on a personal basis. ChinaChallo currently processes group travel on L visas. M visa processing is a service we are developing and will offer in future trips. For this delegation, you travel on a group L visa managed by our team.
In most cases, no. Our team handles the group submission on your behalf. You provide your passport and documents to our collection point, and we return your passport with the visa stamped. The visa centre visit is handled by our team. In some individual cases — particularly first-time applicants — the embassy may request an in-person biometric appointment, and our team will inform you if this applies to you.
A passport with no previous stamps is not automatically a problem for a group application, but it does require stronger supporting documentation — bank statements, business proof and a police certificate. We cover this in detail on the less travel history page. Our team assesses each applicant's situation individually and will tell you exactly what additional documents to prepare.
Documents must reach our team at least 45 days before departure. If you apply late, your seat can be held but the visa cannot be guaranteed.
The embassy makes the final decision on every visa, and no company can guarantee approval. However, group applications processed by an established travel operator with a track record of completed trips have a meaningfully higher approval rate than individual first-time applications. To date, all of our group applications have been approved. The best protection is submitting complete, accurate documents on time.
The L visa permits you to enter China for tourism and group travel. It allows you to visit the Canton Fair, Yiwu Market, factories, cities and any other locations within China during your stay. It does not permit you to work, study or take employment in China.
Yes, M visa processing is on our roadmap. We are building the documentation infrastructure to offer individual M visa support alongside our group travel service.
